Why I Wrote Born Lonely: For much of my life, I carried a loneliness I couldn’t fully explain. Over time, I came to understand that what I was experiencing was not weakness or failure, but the lasting impact of trauma and the experiences that had shaped me from an early age. My own journey led me to therapy, recovery and a deeper understanding of how trauma affects our minds, bodies and relationships. It also inspired me to train as a therapist and dedicate my work to supporting others on their healing journeys. I wrote Born Lonely because I know how isolating trauma can feel. I wanted to share my story honestly, not only to help others feel less alone, but to offer hope that healing, understanding and connection are possible. If even one person feels seen, understood or encouraged to begin their own healing journey after reading this book, then sharing my story will have been worthwhile. Born Lonely, Coming Summer 2026
