Building Awareness of Trauma – an Introduction 22nd June 2020
This workshop will build your awareness and understanding of trauma. It is designed for any professional working with people who encounter trauma, from therapists to emergency service staff.
The word trauma is often used but is often not understood. This lack of understanding often means traumatised individuals are not getting appropriate care and this can lead to further trauma, and so the cycle continues. This workshop is the beginning of a potential course of workshops which will work to eradicate this lack of understanding.
Trauma informed care is something Ashleigh and Linda care deeply about. Their knowledge, passion and experience alongside their holistic care of people will be what makes this a workshop not to be missed.
This workshop will help you define:
You will come away with a raised awareness of the effects of trauma in the people you work with, but also yourself.

Bright Creative Workshops
Mandalas for Clarity 2nd May 2020
A mandala is a circular pattern that Carl Jung maintained reflects our true self. In this workshop you will create and colour a mandala of your own that reflects your life. Going through this contemplative process of creation and reflection develops greater self awareness of your own values, aims, capacities and ambitions. Participants will be encouraged to share and talk about their mandala within the group – this brings up personal and common issues and challenges and encourages group support, cohesion, shared experience and relationship building. This workshop can bring up unexpected memories and emotions which will all be handled sensitively by Linda. This workshop often brings deeper clarity and purpose to your life. No artistic talent is needed.
‘Lovely setting – a feeling of calm and peace. Supportive atmosphere, just right for exploring issues.’ Claire
‘It was relaxed, everyone had the space they needed and we were kept safe. Enjoyed the theory, the chance to explore without judgement – please let me know about any other workshops you are running!’ Lisa
Dream Analysis & Active Imagination 12th September 2020
Working with our dreams brings insight into our unconscious functioning. We contain all the information we need within ourselves if only we knew how to access and translate the often confusing images and messages received in dreams. Active Imagination is a kind of waking dream – accessed through using visualisation and meditation. Combining a dream and re-accessing the dream using active imagination can help us to begin to understand the messages we send ourselves. This workshop helps us to uncover our creativity, or our blocks to creativity, and puts us in touch with a way to continue communicating with ourselves. Participants would need to write down as much of a recent dream as they can remember and bring it with them to the workshop. If you don’t remember dreams then don’t worry, we can work with your active imagination.
‘I attended a Dream Analysis Workshop today. Having never been to something like this, I confess I was unsure what to expect. Led by Linda Bishopp, we gained an insight into the structure of the psyche and the dream theories of Carl Jung – dreams reveal more than they conceal.
Working with our own dreams we looked at dynamics, dream re-entry and interpretation. It was SO interesting! It gave a lot of food for thought, and I am looking forward to continuing my personal analysis journey.
Huge thanks to Linda for offering this workshop, had a fantastic day and now have a few new books to add to my Amazon list – came away with much to ponder.’ Hannah
‘Excellent quality of information and presentation.’ Henry
